Lasserre’s Own Hands

Nonprofit Lasserre’s Own Hands aims to provide education to the small village of Lasserre, Haiti. From construction and maintenance of the school building, to teacher’s salaries and trainings, and free education, school supplies, food and uniforms, advisor Schendy Kernizan and his family aim to give their students the opportunity to seize their future by providing quality education in a safe environment.

Cannabis Private Investment Summit

As a consultant for Kahner Global, Beth serves as event coordinator for the company’s high end cannabis conferences and events. Currently, Beth is managing the marketing and logistics for Cannabis Private Investment Summit events in Ft. Lauderdale, Beverly Hills, Toronto, New York City and San Francisco.

Gil/Hutchinson Wedding

Though Beth is not a wedding planner, from time to time she will do day-of event facilitation for friends or colleagues. Cheyenne and Damien’s wedding was at a venue that not only allowed outside vendors, but did not come with much of anything. In partnership with the bride, groom and their families, our team ensured that the vendor timeline was adhered to, that everything went off without a hitch and that the venue was left in the same condition it started in. We were proud to play a part in this beautiful day.

Blockchain Shift 2018

As a consultant with B3 Alliance, Beth managed the event app buildout for the 2018 Blockchain Shift Conference in Miami. In this capacity, Beth’s role was to build out the branding of the app and ensure that all information provided within the app with respect to schedule, speakers, sponsors, and way finding were accurate and up-to-date throughout the duration of the conference.

Spinnaker Summit 2018

As a consultant for event company Modev, Beth managed event logistics and attendee experience for the 2018 Spinnaker Summit, held in Seattle in October 2018. Beth managed app development, AV, food and beverage, signage, vendor selection, and all pre-event logistics, and provided remote support to the team onsite throughout the duration of the event.

Philly’s first Board Game Cafe, Thirsty Dice, was awarded Philadelphia Magazine's Best of Philly 2018, for Best Board-Game Night prior to opening. They have also been featured in Philly.com, Billy Penn, CBS3, Metro Philly and in several Philly Mag articles, as well as Philly.com’s Philly Insider column. Beth was tasked pre-open marketing and experiential strategy, PR, and events. Thirsty Dice opened October 2018.

As a consultant for Modev, managing Event Logistics and Attendee Experience, Beth supported the inaugural VOICE summit, July 2018 in Newark, NJ. Beth managed event logistics including food and beverage, signage and display, space planning, travel, special events, event app selection and development, marketing and branded materials and implementation of event goals and objectives, as it relates to partner relations and attendee experience. The 3-Day summit will bring together over 1500 attendees, 200 speakers, and over 50 local companies to create the largest Voice Tech event of the year. The event was featured in Forbes.

 
 

 
 

SG23 Design

SG23 Design offers design and project management for homeowners and businesses across architectural interiors, brand design and websites. Beth was fortunate enough to work with Shila to pitch several of her projects to local and national media, including the Shackamaxon Townhouse and Memphis Street Loft Projects. SG23 and Shila's work has been featured in Products Magazine, The Daily Herald and Modern Luxury Interiors.


 
 

James Philadelphia

James Philadelphia is a new, urban restaurant and pub experience in the heart of the city's Logan Square neighborhood. They are known for their craft cocktails, upscale-but-approachable decor and seasonal menus that fuse new American cuisine and neighborhood classics. They offer brunch, lunch, dinner and late-night options, an intimate private event space with a wine vault, and outdoor seating. Beth worked with the ownership and management team on short-and-long-term marketing strategy, partnerships, events, and overall branding. Events include VIP Brunch samplings, which yielded over 25,000 impressions from a 2-hour event and a Quizzo Brunch series. James was featured on Eater Philly’s list of 19 Essential Burgers in Philadelphia.

Bellevue Tent: Radnor Hunt 88th Anniversary

The Palm Restaurant has catered the Bellevue Tent at Radnor Hunt for many years. In 2018, the Palm contracted Beth Lawrence LLC to plan the restaurant's presence at the event, including menu development, rentals, decor, permits and event timeline. Though the event was rained out, there were over 120 who attended the Bellevue tent, and it was covered by PhillyChitChat

Lucha Cartel, an authentic Mexican restaurant and nightlife spot in the heart of Old City, offers lunch, dinner, happy hour, late night and brunch options for groups of up to 150. In addition to authentic Mexican cuisine, Lucha Cartel is well-known in the Philadelphia Latin Dance scene, hosting Salsa lessons and dance party on Tuesdays, Bachata Thursdays and late-night dance parties all weekend long. 


 

  National Bar League: Smith Playground Opening Bar Battle

The National Bar League, a freestyle calisthenics competition founded by Philadelphia native Evan Harden, hosted Philly's first outdoor bar battle in April of 2018 in conjunction with the grand reopening of Smith Playground in South Philadelphia.  The park renovation was a 3 year, multi-million dollar project that combined efforts of the Make the World Better Foundation, Philadelphia Parks and Recreation and Philadelphia Water Departments, State, Local, and City government, and countless sponsors. Renovations included a brand new turf field, two basketball courts, and a fitness pod and running/walking trail to the park and the community surrounding it. NBX worked with the Make the World Better Foundation to design Philly's first-ever bar park, which is within the fitness pod, and hosted a national competition as part of the reopening programming. The event brought out hundreds of attendees from all over the city and featured over 4 hours of programming. Event was covered on Fox 29, CBS3, Philadelphia MagazineWooder Ice and MyNewPhilly.


Chopper's Hatchet House: Grand Opening

Beth began working with Chopper's Hatchet House in February of 2018, and went to work on planning the VIP/Media Grand Opening Party for March 8. In collaboration with the Chopper's Hatchet House team, Innovative Catering Concepts, and musician Brian Bachorz, Beth produced a successful event, drawing over 100 people to see the new axe throwing venue and event space in South Jersey. In the week to follow, Chopper's received coverage in the Metro, on Philly ChitChat's blog, and on Fox 29's Good Day Philadelphia.

 
 

Philly Free Streets 2016: Snap Kitchen

On September 24, 2016, forty thousand Philadelphians participated in the inaugural Philly Free Streets event. ten miles of streets were closed to vehicular traffic, encouraging alternative transportation as a means to better overall health. After reading an article in Be Well Philly, which named Philadelphia the least healthy county in Pennsylvania for the 6th year in a row, Beth contemplated ways that Snap Kitchen could help change that perception. In reaching out to the Mayor Jim Kenney and his team, Beth led the charge on behalf of Snap Kitchen to plan and execute the event. As the Premiere Food Sponsor of Philly Free Streets, Snap Kitchen had a presence at each of 11 fueling stations along the route, as well as a branded tricycle that fed participants at various locations throughout the event. Over 60 health and fitness partners held activations along the route to encourage participants to try something new, and add to their overall health.


Vea Fitness Partnership: Philly Free Streets 2016

Philadelphia's Office of Transportation and Information Systems and Snap Kitchen partnered with local tech startup, Vea Fitness, as the Official Technology Partner of Philly Free Streets. Using Vea's technology, the city was able to collect data from the users as to completed fitness challenges, as well as miles walked, ran, or cycled throughout the day. Indego added hundreds of bicycles to their stations in Center City to accommodate the additional riders and make it easy to experience the city in a whole new light. The city saw 40,000 people participate in the event.

Franklin Fountain Partnership: Snap Kitchen

One of Beth's projects for 2017, as Snap Kitchen's Regional Marketing Manager, was to work closely with the culinary team at Snap Kitchen to produce a local, healthy, gluten-free and dairy-free "ice cream" with the Philly-based Franklin Fountain. The ice cream used a custom, dairy-free base, and Snap Kitchen's gluten free, vegetarian brownies to create a decadent flavor—Mocha Caramel Snap Brownie! The kickoff event included a pop-up sampling during the lunch hour on Walnut street in Philadelphia.


 
 

Snap Kitchen & West Elm Partnership: The GOOD Fest 2017

Snap Kitchen Philadelphia was a sponsor of the inaugural GOOD Fest in April of 2017. In addition to providing over 400 attendees with snacks and lunch, Beth partnered with West Elm Philadelphia, Franklin & Whitman and Hungry Harvest to create a tablescape fit for an influencer. West Elm provided the decor and props and dressed the table, while Franklin & Whitman and Hungry Harvest provided supplementary props and products. The table was visited by attendees and social media influencers throughout the day, producing user generated content and thousands of Instagram impressions.
